Celtics Roll Past Wolves for Fourth Straight

KG Shines in Minnesota Return

Kevin Garnett made sure his first chance to play at the Target Center as a visitor was a memorable experience.

KG scored eight of his team-high 17 on Friday in a huge 35-point third quarter for the Celtics as they surged past the Timberwolves, 95-78.

Paul Pierce notched 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Leon Powe added 10 and 11 for Boston to help it earn its fourth straight victory.

Kia Walking School Bus

The Boston Celtics teamed up with Kia Motors today to encourage Boston Public School students to increase their exercise by walking to school. Celtics players Tony Allen and Brian Scalabrine led a group of students in East Boston to the James Otis Elementary School in the form of a walking school bus. After arriving at the school, a special assembly was held for all students at which the Celtics players spoke to the students about the importance of being physically active to maintain a healthy mind and body.
